Midwestern Force/Southern Storm Lacrosse Club Membership
2012 Season
MFL & SSL is open to any female player entering grades 3rd-11th. We offer practices in areas where membership exists and help girls take their game to the next level through a variety of instructional and competitive playing opportunities. Our goal is to provide players the opportunity to improve their skills by holding regular clinics/practices led by skilled and dedicated instructors and by competing at elite, national events.
The Force is composed of players primarily from Ohio, but we also see a contingent of players from Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky. The Storm is composed of players from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia and is the newly developed sister club of MFL.
...playing lacrosse, learning new skills, elevating your game, traveling to new places, making new friends, having fun, trying new things, challenging yourself, learning to be disciplined, competing against the best in the U.S., reaching to new heights, playing beyond yourself, finding your passion, experiencing success...if this is what you want out of your lacrosse experience, then the FORCE is for you!! So, are you ready to take on lacrosse like a Storm?!

Open Enrollment is offered to all current high school players (graduation years 2015-2012). This option is best suited for players who are undecided about playing lacrosse in college and simply want to benefit from playing in summer/fall tournaments to help improve their level of competitiveness and skill. When players join at the Open enrollment status they receive all the benefits that the club has to offer: training advice, expert coaching, recruiting advice, and the opportunity to compete at national events. Open enrollment players will be able to participate in most national tournaments attended. Efforts will be made to roster players on teams according to skill level and age. However, we cannot guarantee age specific teams at all events. Participation in at least four regional practices is mandatory to maintain Open enrollment status.
The Open Bridge Program is offered to rising freshman (graduating in 2016 only) who want to improve their skills but cannot commit to the travel expected of open enrollment players. Bridge Open players will have weekly, summer practices in conjunction with the middle school group and be eligible to play in both the “jamboree” tournaments during the Summer and in selected national tournaments (see 2011 Schedule). Bridge players also are encouraged to attend regional practices/clinics offered in the fall and winter. There is an additional uniform fee ($55) for this membership as well as additional fees for Fall and Winter practices attended.
The Elite Bridge Program is offered to rising freshman (graduating in 2016 only) who want to improve their skills while at the same time travel to four tournaments pre selected for their year of graduation: Nations Capital Cup/Indian Prairie (Summer 2011) and Navy/Mid-Atlantic/Northwestern (Fall 2011).The Elite Bridge players will have weekly practices in the summer alongside the Open Bridge players and are required to attend the monthly practices in Fall and Winter that are classified as "Elite" practices. Elite Bridge players may also attend all "open" practices, but these are not mandatory. There is an additional uniform fee ($55) for this membership plus additional fees for the mandatory practices and tournaments required.
Elite Status Enrollment is offered to current high school juniors, sophomores, and freshman only (graduation years 2015-2012). Elite Status is best suited for players who intend to play lacrosse in college and are highly committed to gaining exposure by participating in recruiting tournaments. To obtain an elite status, players must commit to several mandatory tournaments during the Summer & Fall (see 2011 Schedule) and must attend all scheduled practices. This is a high level of commitment so please check your personal schedule/calendar before selecting this option for enrollment. However, to gain the type of exposure and skills necessary to play in college, this level of membership is the best option.
**All Elite status players are required to attend up to two practices a month starting in Sept-Feb depending on tournament schedule. NEW THIS SEASON ELITE STATUS PLAYERS WILL ALSO HAVE TURF FEES COLLECTED WITH YOUR RE-ENROLLMENT OPPOSED TO SIGNING UP BY SESSION
